Refund Policy

Effective: June 2026 · Version 1.0

Refunds — in summary

If you are a UK or EU consumer, you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period after taking out a new subscription, during which you can cancel and receive a refund — but only if you have not yet started using the digital Service (or have not asked to start it immediately). After the cooling-off period, subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law or in the limited circumstances described below. You can cancel renewals at any time in your account.

1. About this Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is issued by CF Cycle Trading Limited (“CF Trading”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a company incorporated in England and Wales. It explains your rights to cancel a subscription, when refunds may be available, and how to ask for one.

This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms used but not defined have the meaning given to them in the Terms and Conditions.

2. Your 14-day cooling-off right (consumers only)

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (or equivalent local law) gives you the right to cancel a new subscription within 14 days of the contract being formed (the “cooling-off period”).

2.1 How the cooling-off period interacts with digital content

The Service is digital content supplied other than on a tangible medium. Under regulation 37 of the 2013 Regulations, you lose the right to cancel during the cooling-off period if:

  • you give us your express consent to begin supply of the digital content before the end of the cooling-off period; and
  • you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the supply has begun.

At checkout, we ask for that express consent and acknowledgement so that you can access the Service immediately. If you give that consent at checkout and start to use the Service, your right to cancel under the cooling-off period ends at the point you begin using the Service.

2.2 If you do not give that consent

If you do not give the express consent at checkout (or expressly tell us before starting that you do not want to start), you can cancel the subscription within 14 days for any reason and we will refund the subscription fee in full.

2.3 How to exercise the cooling-off right

To cancel within the cooling-off period, open a ticket from your CF Trading account via our contact us page (or use the model cancellation form below) before the end of the 14-day period. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of your cancellation, using the same payment method as the original transaction (unless you ask otherwise).

3. Free trials and refunds

  • A free trial is free. There is nothing to refund during the trial period.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and the first subscription fee is charged. If you change your mind, you can still exercise the cooling-off right described in section 2 (subject to the digital-content rule), or cancel the subscription as described in section 4.

4. Cancelling your subscription after the cooling-off period

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Cancellation prevents the next renewal — it does not refund the current billing cycle.
  • After cancellation, you keep access to the Service until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable in respect of the current period except where required by law or in the circumstances in section 5.

5. When we will give a refund (or partial refund) outside the cooling-off right

We may give a refund or partial refund where:

  • the Service has not been delivered as described — for example, where we have been unable to give you access to a feature that your subscription tier includes for a substantial period (not counting permitted maintenance or events outside our reasonable control);
  • you have been charged in error;
  • we have decided to discontinue the Service or a feature you were paying for; or
  • we are otherwise required by law to provide a refund.

In each case the amount of any refund will be calculated by reference to the unused portion of your subscription, and any relevant statutory remedies you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. What is not refundable

  • Periods of the subscription in which you used the Service.
  • Service unavailability outside our reasonable control (including failures of third-party platforms such as TradingView, internet outages, or events of force majeure).
  • Trading losses or other financial losses arising from your use of the Service. As set out in our Terms and Conditions and Risk Disclosure, you take full responsibility for your own trading and we do not give investment advice.
  • Subscriptions ended by us because of a breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use, or because of fraud, sanctions or other lawful reasons.

7. How to request a refund

Open a ticket from your CF Trading account via our contact us page, identifying:

  • your account name and email,
  • the subscription tier and date of purchase,
  • the reason for the refund, and
  • whether you have used the Service during the period for which you are seeking a refund.

We will acknowledge the request within 5 business days and decide on the refund within 14 days. Where the refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within a further 14 days.

8. Disputed payments and chargebacks

If you dispute a charge directly with your bank or card issuer (a “chargeback”), we may suspend access to the Service while the dispute is being investigated. We encourage you to contact us first — most issues can be resolved more quickly through our support team than through the chargeback process. Where a chargeback is determined in our favour, we may reinstate the account and recover any associated costs.

9. Business customers

If you have entered into a separate written business or institutional agreement with us, the refund terms in that agreement apply instead of (or in addition to) this Refund Policy. Where this Refund Policy refers to consumer-protection rights, those rights generally do not apply to business customers under English law.

10. Model cancellation form (Schedule 3, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

You may, but are not required to, use the following form to cancel within the cooling-off period:

To: CF Cycle Trading Limited, Carrwood Park, Selby Road, Leeds LS15 4LG.

I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the supply of the following service: [tier and date]. Name of consumer: [____]. Address of consumer: [____]. Date: [____]. Signature (only if this form is on paper): [____].
